- Hello everyone and thank you for checking out my blogspot. My name is Kasso Baku I'm 20 years old and I from Bushwick,Brookyn NYC. This blogspot was created for people who are not familar with me, my work or the understandings of my work as well.My art background is different than most. I started off doing graffiti when i was 13 when I was 15 I met a man named Kasso, he was a homeless man I saw one day painting on hub caps. For 4 years I learned all he had to teach me about art soon after he passed away.I took on his name as my last thanks to him and all he has taught to me. My art now is a blend of african images,anatomy concepts with my own style of street art. My art deals with a range of topics such as love, transformation, understanding one's self and the complex of human misery.Most of the images I paint are bright, full of color pieces yet if you take a look at the words you can get a different understanding from what you first see.I like to play with the fact that people are drawn to something bright and bold and I try to use that in most of my work. Im on a mission to show people the power of art and that the human sprit is trully alive. Please enjoy
